Im a student that has the pleasure of visiting roses house for a spraytan,she is very friendly and is really good @ her stuff,i was very pleased with the results and her acommodating timeslots as sometimes i couldnt get down to her house until late after college which was very helpful as most salons close @ 6,so i would have never been able to get the treatment done.i fully recomend her. lisa hayes

Poor you! If you are using false eyelashes they can sometimes have a bit of an effect on your own lashes when you remove them. Well I had NOT thought of that. I kind of imagined that the leggy beauties at Vogue would give themselves a quick rubdown with an oily rag now and again, but who knows? I do know that models have a weird habit of peeing with the door open and then not washing their hands so maybe it's that sort of thing....anyway; ugh.

I agree! (Not about my blog being super but thank you anyway!) My children are being brought up on a strict diet of Mr Benn, The Clangers and The Flumps. None of this Ben 10 rubbish. I think more and more products are being designed to appeal to our inner child, and quite right too - we are all so uber-sophisticated it's healthy to let go sometimes. Thanks for reading x

Sorry for delay - been lying on the sofa like the Lady of Shalott with consumption. I think, thank goodness, we are moving towards artisan candles, that actually have some heritage and craftsmanship, rather than the ones that are just a carrier for a colossal amount of a signature scent. And it's not just "look how much money I spent on your present" candles either; the English Eccentrics ones are about £20 cheaper each than Diptyque, I think, so you get the same quality without feeling as if you are just ostentatiously burning money.

Do you not think though that it is (almost all?) about the packaging these days, rather than the scent?
Sure, the likes of Diptyque and Jo Malone will win out because they have had such fantastic press, but I get the feeling now that 'everyone else' is just playing catch up and innovating on packaging design. What do you think?

Hmmm; Sun-In - that brings back a few teenage memories. In much the same way, I remember the Body Shop camomile powder: happy memories of mixing it up into a lumpy gloop, massaging into head and fixing into place with clingfilm and a plastic bag. Smelled foul and never worked.

Fashionista, one of the founding cast of Pure Artifice, has a toning electropad thingy. She said "You wear it at the gym and it triples the effectiveness of your workout.
